Care

Because they’re constructed from quality wood material, our cornices top off your drapes, shades or blinds elegantly. They camouflage curtain rods or other hardware and level off the window frame for a smoother, more finished look.

A stained, natural wood look is an attractive way to top off your custom window treatments, but there are other options that allow us to coordinate your custom cornices with the rest of your décor. For example, we can pad them with batting to soften the look, and then cover them with fabric that compliments your upholstery and window treatments.

For a more distinctive look Alternatively nail pins can be applied on top of the fabric

We offer a selection of quality fabrics for customizing your cornices to match or complement the rest of your décor including linen, cotton, polyester, wool, silk, faux silk, velvet, and more in solid colors, florals, plaids, or stripes.

Wood cornices only require dusting with a soft cloth to keep them looking new. Fabric cornices can be dusted, too, or hand-vacuumed using a soft brush tool and gentle strokes. Canned compressed air or a hair drying set to a cool setting are also useful for blowing dust and dirt from wood or upholstered cornices. Spot cleaning or more thorough cleaning may be an option if your cornices become stained, but the best method will depend on the fabric used.
